Who is responsible for your data

Nicola Capiotto is the data controller for Edge Trading Journey and the Weekly Edge Journal.

What information is used and why

Your email address and subscription details are used to send the free Weekly Edge Journal and manage your subscription, based on your consent. Subscribing is optional; your email address is necessary to receive the newsletter.

If you contact me, your address and message are used to answer your enquiry, based on my legitimate interest in responding to requests.

Essential technical information is processed based on my legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure website.

Services that handle your information

Wix provides website hosting, forms, contact management and newsletter delivery through Wix Email Marketing. Google’s Gmail handles email enquiries. Usercentrics for Wix manages cookie preferences.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using applicable safeguards, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Further information is available in Wix’s data-processing terms and Google’s privacy information, or by contacting me.

How long information is kept

Subscription data is kept while your subscription and the newsletter remain active.

Newsletter delivery stops when you unsubscribe. Newsletter contact data under my control is deleted within one month of unsubscribing or permanent closure of the newsletter.

Enquiry correspondence is deleted within one month after the enquiry and any follow-up are resolved.

Information required for a legal obligation or an ongoing legal dispute is retained until that requirement ends.

Your choices and rights
